Not one but TWO!!!

Yep- they ordered not one but TWO gorgeous storyboards. These are sized at 10x20in and are printed on a gallery mount wooden board so no additional framing is needed. COOL!

Spencer came in for his senior mini session with two perfect outfits and twenty minutes later we were finished. Senior mini's are just perfect for those guys out there that are pretty much getting their pictures taken for mom. We know you're out there and we love photographing you just the same as everyone else! Our goal is to make these mini sessions as quick and painless as possible :) When Spencer was finished with his session he agreed- 'That was easy and super fast!' ~Erin

Doggie Buds!

Giant paws. Happy smiles. Bounding, leaping, playing! That is what Harley and Cedar did from the moment I arrived to the moment I left!

These two boys are obviously best friends. They rough house- but not to rough. And they even share their bones. Their Mom said 'Don't they have the most handsome faces! Do you think all dog owners think their dogs have the most adorable faces of all?'

Yes, I do!

Gig Harbor High School Prom

We are SOOOOO excited to photograph the Gig Harbor High School Prom on June 9th. Bright Lights Big City is the theme. We will be heading up to Seattle and climbing aboard the Argosy Cruise Ship for the evening. Each prom couple will get to choose a pose for their order. We think it's going to be hard to pick!

Thank you so much to 2012 BerryLane Model Courtney and her amazing and accommodating boyfriend, Tyler, for posing for these shots! ~ Erin, Kristine, Heidi & Sarah

Decisions, decisions, decisions....

Sometimes it's hard to make a decision. Well... not just sometimes! A lot of our clients love so many of the images we take they have a hard time making a decision!

We do everything we can to help them out. Here is an example of what Alex's mom is looking at. She can't decide on the final image on one of our most popular products- the gallery mount trio storyboard.
Which one do you think she should go with??? Hmmmm...... ~Erin

This session was meant to be! I can't even begin to list all the things that had to fall in to place, but they did. I was very excited to photograph Sarah again. She came in during the fall for one of our yearbook picture days so she could get something fabulous for her yearbook. And then Saturday we headed off to Fort Steilacoom park for her senior session. What a beautiful location!

Looking through your session- I am thinking these three images would be PERFECT for wallets! ~Erin

Waterfront Maternity Session

Baby should be here anytime now . . .
It's so great to be a part of these special moments in the lives of our clients. We captured this mom-to-be as a high school senior, and now, a few years later, her maternity photos, as well.
The Gig Harbor waterfront provided a beautiful backdrop for this session. Congratulations, Mommy! ~ Heidi

Favorite things....

I ask every one of my seniors to bring their favorite thing to their session. I am always excited to see what they come up with. And to think about what kind of fun shots I will get for them to really personalize their session.

Today Chelsy brought her favorite thing- boyfriend of two years Alex. Aren't they sweet! ~Erin

Chelsy

What a great two hour session this was! We spent the first half at Owens Beach and the second half at Grandma's house. Toss in a few senior pics of boyfriend Alex (will show you those tomorrow!) and then some couples images and it was perfect! Kristine had a blast at the ordering appointment as well- lets see, there was Chelsy, her mom, Grandma Sue, Grandma Sammy, Grandma Linda, boyfriend Alex, Alex's mom and Alex's dad! Woot woot!~Erin

~Evan~ senior mini session

I loved this mini session with Evan. He had the BEST attitude! I know full well that when guys come to our studio 9 times out of 10 they are there because their mom, grandma or aunt is making them be there!

In Evan's case he came with his Aunt Kathy. Every pose, every encouragement, every smile or serious face I asked for was met with a somewhat incredulous face saying 'I can't believe I'm doing this- but, ok, if that's what she wants.' He was a total trooper. Continually telling me- it's ok, I dont feel too silly doing this! Well, except for that one time I made him lay on the sidewalk....

This is why our senior mini session are SOOOO perfect for guys. It's just 20 minutes and two outfits with a $65 session fee. Any guy can take it for 20 minutes :).

I kept telling Evan he looked like a model. He clearly thought I was messing with him- that I told everyone that same comment. What do you think???? ~Erin

{Gig Harbor Photographer} Trash the dress!

Heidi and I photograph each session with joy and happiness. It is always so exciting to meet each new client and see how we can bring out both their inner and outer beauty. I also edit all of the images we take. Making them absolutely perfect- following the vision we each had during our sessions.

What I dont get to do is be there during the ordering appointments when our clients get to experience the thrill of seeing their images for the first time. That is left to the fabulous Kristine. So it is always exciting for me to see what our clients order. Canvas is my favorite! Look at this beautiful image that was chosen to be a 20x24 canvas wall portrait! I am beyond happy that this is the portrait Alexandria and her mom love so much that it had to be turned into a canvas! ~Erin

Beautiful Mommy-to-Be

This beauty is going to be a first-time-mommy any day now. Little "Baby O" is my dear friend's first grandchild, and so it blessed me greatly to photograph these special moments as they prepare for his arrival. Happiness! ~ Heidi

I don't like getting in trouble . . .

We didn't get in trouble. We could have; but, we didn't. I couldn't resist shooting in a sort-of-private-looking-spot that was perfectly lit, and the gate was partly opened . . . sort of inviting us in, really . . .

Thank you to the nice gentleman (the building owner) who said we could continue shooting, and in the future he was happy for us to return (but let them know next time, so they don't assume it's someone up to no good). Yay for us!

Thanks for a fun and memorable session. I don't like getting in trouble, so I'm glad it all ended well. ~ Heidi

Pierce County Photographer Models!

As we are coming to the end of the school year we have been completing all of the model shoots for our class of 2013 senior reps. It has been so fun to meet all these new seniors. BerryLane is so fortunate to have such a great group of students wanting to be involved in promoting us.

I was very exited for this 'Studio Glam' themed session because it gave me an opportunity to use a brand new backdrop from Serendipity Backdrops. Scott and Kelly are so amazingly creative with all their backdrop designs! At this shoot Dramikha won the award for coming the longest distance- way to represent Ocean Shores!!!!
