Graduating College Senior Portraits

This beauty is a GHHS grad, and will soon be graduating from college. Her gorgeous yard was a perfect setting, and the sun provided us some amazing pockets of light for this session. After having her hair and make-up done at Obsecurities Salon in downtown Gig Harbor, we began our session overlooking the water in her backyard. Her sweet, old doggie joined in a few images; I hope those will be extra-special for her family. You're beautiful! Enjoy ~ Heidi

Gig Harbor Wedding {Still Images}

It was a GORGEOUS day in Gig Harbor! This beautiful (and oh-so-sweet) bride was such a pleasure to work with. Her new husband obviously adores her, and their love made these images so completely natural to photograph. It was a joy to be a part of their special day. Congratulations, Emily & Robert! ~ Heidi

Fantastic 'AA' Baseball Action Shots {Gig Harbor Little League}

With two sons playing on Gig Harbor Little League teams this year, life is busy! We find ourselves rushing here and there - but also loving every minute of it. My husband and I really enjoy everything our boys are involved in, and the community it creates for our family. This season, I've realized a passion for baseball photography. This is some of my work from recent 'AA' level games. ~ Heidi

{TWINS} Gig Harbor High School Graduating Seniors

These charming twins are about to head off to different colleges (OSU & WSU), and are enjoying their last days as classmates at Gig Harbor High School. The whole family came along for this fun senior session, and they were a delightful group! We fit in a few family images, as well, which will make for great wall collage material. Sharing this time together makes for great family memories. Thanks for a fun morning! ~ Heidi

Gig Harbor Little League, Baseball Action Photography

Spring in Gig Harbor also means BASEBALL for my family. Both of my boys play with Gig Harbor Little League, and capturing action shots of their team on the field is one of my passions. I've enjoyed the opportunity to shoot several games and catch lots of players in action. Here's a peek at a 'A' game; I hope these make you smile! ~ Heidi

{Gig Harbor Senior Pictures} Sam

 What do you do when you're getting your senior pictures done at the Narrows Beach park and it's 46 degrees out and WINDY? Bring shorts and tank tops! At least that's what Sam did. And braving the freezing cold paid off with some super adorable pictures! You would never know that we were all shivering, especially with each new outfit Sam changed into. Luckily I had a warm, fuzzy, red blanket (that is usually used for those outdoor soccer games in the winter) that Sam cuddled up in as we walked from spot to spot along the beach.

{Tacoma Dog Photographer} Patches

One of the many reasons why we do what we do:

"Hello,
I just wanted to thank you for taking pictures of me and my dogs last week.Unknown to us at the time it turns out that you captured some snipets from the last few days of my Australian Shepard Patches. I have yet to see the pictures of him, but I know they will be wonderful and during this sorrowful time it brings me great joy to know that I can now always look at his wonderful smile and sparkling eyes.
Thank You!"

I know Patches is running through the fields of Heaven right now.
{{{Hugs to his family}}}

Birthday party time!

One of the most fun things we do at our Tacoma studio is host birthday parties! For this particular gathering a make-up artist and gourmet cupcakes were added in- how fun! These sweet 5th graders felt like movies stars with the make-up and then photo shoot under the lights and cameras!

The giggling was non-stop as they watched each other pose and glam it up. This was definately an experience they will remember for a lifetime!
