A Gig Harbor Sun Spot!

A sun spot opened up today right over my yard. I had a peek a boo view of blue sky! I can't wait for sunny days and warm evening breezes.

BerryLane- Favorite product!

The trio-storyboard is one of BerryLane Photography's most popular products. The trio of images are turned into a gallery mount- a modern, state of the art presentation, that requires no additional framing. Your print is completely sealed with a durable, transparent matte laminate and heat fused to a densely engineered substrate. It comes with beveled edges and ready to hang. You have to see it to really know how cool this product is! We have several samples in our studio to check out.

My favorite part is seeing what images clients put together!

2013 Pierce County Senior Models!!!!

Our first model shoot with class of 2013 senior reps! We had our amazing make-up artist Inga at the studio to do make-up and then we headed off to the graffiti garage. We started with some group shots, moved on to individual shots for their business cards and then more group shots at the end- FUN!!!!

But the crazy part of the whole day was walking back to the studio. It started to rain, then hail and then snow for our four block walk, UP HILL! By the time we got back we pretty much looked like drowned rats. Well, at least Kristine and I did. Everyone else still looked pretty darn cute!

March Snow in Gig Harbor- what????

That's exactly how I felt when I woke up one day in the first week of March to see snow all over the ground. It's March, this is Gig Harbor, sea level, Puget Sound. SNOW????? It was surprising, it was beautiful, it wasn't very much. School was not cancelled. Snow melted by noon. It was PERFECT!

Sweetest Little Thing in Town

You can't argue with the fact that she must be the sweetest little thing in town, right? I really, really enjoy this age; and, specifically, I do mean that I enjoy "photographing" kids this age. I have to be quick, because they're quick! I think I must have 20+ clicks for every one good image; but when I get that good one, it can be so very good. The sweetness in this innocent little face is something beautiful. Her red/blue combo doesn't hurt, either.
I had the pleasure of photographing her big sister when she was 10 mo. old, and I was honored when the family asked be back to photograph the new addition at her 10 mo. anniversary. It's fun to be a small part of the lives of families like this. Thanks so much! ~ Heidi
