Alexa

Alexa- what a perfect and beautiful day for your senior portraits. I had so much fun tromping around downtown Tacoma finding cool areas to shoot in. I hope your feet don't hurt from walking all over in your cute heels!

I have to also add a shout out to 'super dad' for going all the way back to Gig Harbor to get the forgotten dress. It was worth it. Those dress images are gorgeous. Enjoy your sneak peek!

Good luck Laura!

I am so sad to say goodbye to my stylist Laura!

But- she is off for a great adventure and I am thrilled. Laura just left for Colorado for three months of training with YWAM (youth with a mission) and then she will be doing mission work in either China or Africa for several months after that. This has been a lifelong dream that Laura is now able to fulfill. Everything came into place a few weeks ago and was quite a surprise for her.

It gets better- her boyfriend was accepted into the program as well, and they headed off together just a few days ago! Hmmm, do you sense wedding bells coming soon? I'll be waiting for the big announcement Laura!

A girls best friend

Sticks and Stones and Bubbles

I know what you're thinking 'I thought diamonds were a girls best friend?' Well, not when you're two! When you're two you know the truth- nothing is better than sticks and stones and bubbles. I love these images. You can just see the sparkle in her eye and the spunk in her spirit!

Ohhhh mighty stick!

And this is the cute shot that Bella set up for us all on her own. Looks good Bella- you know a good photo op when you see it!

Mom, dad- there are so many more amazing shots from our session. I can't wait for you to see them all!

Victoria

Victoria- your images have such glamor and spunk to them! They have been a lot of fun to work with. You are going to be very pleased! Owens Beach was a perfect location for your senior pictures.

Thank you for being so easy going and speedy with our photo session. Those dark gray clouds made us race a bit for light but are perfect for some very moody trash the dress shots. They are fabulous!

Melissa

Melissa- what a beautiful location you chose to have your senior portraits done- your own home! It made it so easy to do your wardrobe changes and finding those last minute shoe choices!

Here are a few of my favorites from our session. It was hard to choose! And I just have to say, your sweet pups looks like a total princess. She definitely has the royalty thing going on! I'm glad you decided to include her.

Madeleine

Madeleine- I wanted to get your preview up asap so you could have your peek before you head off for your horse competition (is that what it's called? A 'horse competition'? I so don't know about horse things!).

There are so many images that stood out to me. I really love the connection you and Wally have and I'm thrilled that we were able to include him in so many images. The outfits you choose were perfect and the navy blue dress is stunning! I can't wait for you to see all of them!

Mom- I hope you got all the 'horse dirt' off your blouse before you headed to work!!!!!

Oh- and I just had to show off that I can make anyone or anything smile for pictures! ;)

Andrea

Andrea- I loved your session! Everything was perfect- the location, the weather, your wardrobe. And to top it off, you are one of the bravest seniors I've photographed so far!

We had to climb quite a ways along a rather large and steep cliff to get to the ultra private beach where we did the Trash the Dress portion of Andrea's session. It was not easy. I seriously thought I was going to fall in, camera and all, a couple different times!

And, just in case anyone reading this is wondering- the other, easier to access side of this beach was covered in gooey, slimey, crud that we weren't too excited about getting into! And, well, Andrea said she was game for the climb!
You can see here the edge of the cliff and the annoyed expression of my stylist Laura at me once again getting a shot of her backside.... And just in the distance you can see mom, safely perched, on the lookout for any rogue waves that might swamp us!

We had fun!
