Gig Harbor Dog Photography - Sweet Lexi!!

I always love it when I get a chance to photograph pets. They really are a part of our family! This sweet puppy is named Lexi. She is just 8 months old, but was so well behaved. She has the softest fur I have ever felt (really more like a cat- but dont tell her that!). Lexi's most favorite toy is her pink and yellow golf ball. What a wonderful pup she is!

Coleman's senior pictures

One of the best things about having been in business for more than 8 years is photographing multiple kids from client families. Three years ago I photographed Kelsey. Now it's her brother Coleman's turn! 

We almost had to cancel this session but the weather gods were in our favor. The only time it didn't rain on the day of Coleman's session was the one hour that I photographed him. Seriously- I got into my car to leave and the skies opened up!

Coleman brought his new truck to his session. We found a grungy old parking lot in downtown Tacoma and had a great time photographing all over it!

Another soccer star!

It was a sprinkly, rainy day for Max (Mackenzie)'s senior pictures. She is such a busy gal with playing premier soccer year around so Max chose to do a senior mini session. I must say, she was awesome in the face of the rain! I asked her if she was okay with the rain, wanting to make sure it wasn't stressing her out, and she said: 

"It's not a problem. I wore my hair curly so I wouldn't worry about it if it got wet!"

Wow- no senior girl has ever said that to me! The blue silky top she wore began to show the rain drops- but that was not a problem. I just edited them out!

Every now and then this fall we have been getting glimpses of the sun. Sandra's session was one of those days! Point Defiance was gorgeous and full of colorful fall leaves. Sandra's outfit's perfectly matched the location and it was so fun meeting her mom, dad and sister at her session!

I just love it when my seniors bring instruments to their sessions. I always tell them 'Just play for me!' The talent I have heard through the years is amazing. This session was also a blast because we got to do a 'trash the dress' at the end. The beach at Chambers Bay was perfect for this and the sun was shining just right. Still, in September it's pretty cold but Quinci was quite brave!
