{Sweet Mommy} Keepsake Photos

This was a very emotional session, for both me and my sweet clients. Recently diagnosed, this session was a gift for the mother from a dear friend and neighbor. Their hope was to capture memories for the elementary age daughter . . . keepsake photographs which will be dear to her in the future. It was a beautiful day, the sun was shining, and love was all around us. ~ Heidi

Day Island Family Photography {Happy 70th Birthday, Grandpa!}

This fantastic family invited me into their beautiful home on Day Island. Grandpa is turning 70, and family photos are his daughters' way of wishing him a Happy Birthday - such a great gift! I really enjoyed my time with them. Not only was the setting stunning, but the three granddaughters were amazingly fun to photograph on the beach! They each have distinctive, beautiful looks and personalities, and we were blessed with perfect lighting for a beach session. Thanks for a lovely day, and Happy 70th, Grandpa! ~ Heidi

{Gig Harbor Family Photographer} Priceless Imagery

This image Heidi took from a recent family session made me gasp and made me sigh with contentment. You can see the love between this mother and daughter. You can feel the love and comfort in their hug. In years to come this image will be priceless.

Dog Photographer {Tacoma - Gig Harbor}

This Gig Harbor doggy makes me smile! I mean really- how could you not smile when you see that face! 


Radar spent most of her time running and playing ball with her master and smiling and hanging with her two little boys. It's been a long time since I've seen a pup that was just so happy to BE.


It was one of our few beautiful spring days and Radar was taking full advantage of it. Wouldn't it be great if we could be as happy and carefree as she is!

Harbor Fire Lacrosse

This is my daughter's lacrosse team- Harbor Fire. They are the first ever girls lacrosse team in Gig Harbor. Thanks to their coaches Craig and Akiko these talented middle school girls went from never having touched a stick before to winning three out the four games in their season ending tournament in Snohomish last weekend. Us parents couldn't be more proud! Even if we still have no clue about the rules of the game! ("What was that foul for? I think she breathed on her...." private joke between the parents! Snerk!)

Senior Pictures Mini Session- Tacoma, WA

I was so happy to have a nice day for Nicole's senior mini session. These sessions are twenty minutes long with two different outfits. Perfect for seniors that are SO busy they can barely fit senior pictures into their schedule! Even though it was a short amount of time, Nicole and I had a lot of fun and got tons of images. Turns out I have already photographed most of her friends too!

This has been such a fun Personal Project for me! Erin and I have been encouraged, as professionals, to find things to shoot that inspire us. It makes us more creative and fulfilled as artists. {Tacoma Senior Pictures} the forgotten violin

When Laura did her one hour senior session in downtown Tacoma she forgot to bring her violin! So we scheduled a mini session in our theater district studio. I love the simple outfit Laura chose. It really makes the violin stand out! We got some amazing images- I can't wait to see what she chooses to put in her album!

Senior Pictures- braces off!

Germaine had her senior session last summer but came in to our Tacoma photography studio for a little update since she had just gotten her braces off. Look at that smile- could she be any happier? Fabulous! Now she just needs to pick which ones she wants for her grad announcements and she is good to graduate! Congratulations Germaine!
