JRP Seattle Talent headshots

Danielle was super excited for her appointment with the talent and modeling agency JRP Seattle Talent (John Robert Powers).

She needed headshots for her audition and we were happy to help out.

Danielle selected our headshot collection that came with hair and make-up touch-ups ($239) which was GREAT because the make-up artist we use (Inga) also works for JRP. Perfect! Inga was able to give Danielle all kinds of pointers on what to expect and how to handle herself and she knew exactly what kind of images the JRP would be looking for.

I can't wait to see how Danielle's career takes off!

Photographer's Get-Away to Beautiful Winthrop

B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L = Winthrop. My friend from high school, Heather, has a great "in" for us in Winthrop - her parents moved there! Stephanie, Heather, and I always love a good girlfriend get-away, and last weekend we enjoyed the beauty of Winthrop together. Their house is located between the charming towns of Winthrop and Mazama. We strolled through stores, ate and ate and ate, visited Sun Mountain Lodge (gorgeous!), and just relaxed in the beauty that surrounded us. - Heidi

Isn't this the most beautiful trio storyboard? I just love Maddy in her kimono. These images were taken- where else but- the Japanese Garden's at Pt Defiance park in Tacoma. What a fun session we had. Maddy went from Uggs, to Kimono to prom dress! So much variety makes it SO much fun!

This sweet girl is very close to my heart! My mini me, or so I'm told. I think she's just about a million times cuter than I ever was. Her little 9 year old heart is so full of kindness and joy it just makes me melt! Love you Bethany!

Chapel Hill Pre-school sign-ups start now!

BerryLane Photography has a very close tie with Chapel Hill Pre-School. Not only did my two daughters go there, Heidi's boys went there and so did Sarah's daughters but- did you know- Heidi and Sarah both teach there part time! (Lucky kids!)

Not only do I have the best employees ever, but so does Chapel Hill Pre-School. This is a promo video Heidi made for them advertising enrollment for this coming year. Looks like fun doesn't it!

It is that time of year again! We have just opened applications for our class of 2012 senior models!

Our modeling program is SO much fun- these are just a few images from some different group events we've had for our models over the last 12 months.

2012 Senior Model Application

Senior Models for BerryLane Photography

This photo shoot was one of the funnest I've had for a long time! Abbie, Germaine and Dominic are three of my 2011 senior models. Every time our models sent us a referral their name went into a hat. This fall we drew three names out of that hat and those were the models who won the BerryLane Guy/Girl competition.

When you become a BerryLane Guy or Girl you are get a special themed photo shoot. This was our first ever night shoot and we chose a 40's, noir sort of theme. The seniors all had hair and make-up done at Obscurities Hair and Art Studio in Gig Harbor. We did some shots in the salon and then went out amongst the twinkly lights of downtown Gig Harbor.

Each of our models had their own assistant (one of the BerryLane interns!) that took care of everything they needed- and covered them with giant umbrellas because it was raining hard at times that night!

Now that we have these amazing pictures they will be featured in all kinds of advertising- both online and in print. We already have a great promo card designed for the hair salon we worked with. Fun times!

PS: I'm sure Dominic would like all of you to know that he does NOT normally wear his hair anywhere close to the style shown here! lol!

Nothing Cuter than Preschool Fun in Gig Harbor!

These darling kiddos make going to work a fun and silly-filled experience every day! It's really great to catch them in the midst of fun, with their real smiles shining through. Posing preschoolers is always adorable, too; but, there is something special about the more candid shots. I love these sweethearts! - Heidi
