Silhouette
I just couldn't resist showing this amazing image. We went down to Narrows Beach viewing park to do this Gig Harbor seniors trash the dress portion of her photo session. This was the last shot of the day.
Wow- Gorgeous!

Lauren
It's in the middle of the summer, but boy did we have some good old Washington rain at Lauren's seniors photo session! It didn't drizzle, it didn't sprinkle- it poured!
Lucky for us Pt Defiance has many under-cover options and I had packed lots of umbrellas!
Napolean was quite a trooper too- walking back and forth for his portion of the shoot. What a handsome boy! And Lauren, I have to say, your smile lights up every shot! So many good ones- it's going to be hard to choose.

Kelsey
Kelsey- I have never had anyone take to the Puget Sound water like you did for the Trash the Dress portion of your senior session!
Seriously! Not a gasp, not a whimper, not a cringe! You just stepped right in and did your thing! You are so easy going and relaxed it's easy to see why your images turned out as fabulous as they did. I can't wait for you to see the rest!

Once upon a time....
Once upon a time, in a magical kingdom far, far, away there were three pre-teen princesses.
We had Cinderella
And her beautiful ball gown.
Snow White and her Mirror Mirror....
The apple...
And the deep, deep, sleep.
And we can't forget Tinkerbell
And her magical pixie dust...
And just in case it looks like everything is perfect in this Magical Kingdom- Look what happens when Tink tries to blow fairy dust on Cinderella and Snow White!
Every now and then I plan a session just for me.
Something completely different from what I normally do. It really keeps me creative and is a lot of fun! I just gave a shout out to a couple of my best clients and they were happy to come play with me! Luckily these three have been friends since pre-school!
Moms- thanks for letting me borrow your awesome pre-teen princesses!

Senior Wall Display Ideas
Often when I create portraits for families they are looking to design a beautiful wall display full of images from our session.
This is a great idea for senior portraits as well. Although most folks don't want a whole wall dedicated to just one of their children, a smaller version is a great way to honor the accomplishments of a high school senior.
Here are a few favorite displays that work perfectly for senior portraits:

Client Homework
With school starting up soon, I thought it would be a good time to let you know that you will start getting homework at the end of your sessions!
But- this is the fun kind! This cute little packet has all kinds of information to help get you ready for your view & order appointment. You can start thinking about the who's, what's and where's of the fabulous images you will get to choose from.
The comment I hear at every viewing sessions is 'There are so many great ones! How am I ever going to choose????' We're doing our best to give you the tools to make the right decisions for your family!

Kate
You'd never know it (ok, maybe the umbrella in the one shot gives it away!)- but this whole senior session was done in the drizzling Washington rain!
Kate, you were such a good sport and never seemed to worry about anything- you just went with it! Thank goodness for your mom's giant umbrella's. She just kept pulling them out of the car! I am so glad we kept on going. I love your images!
