{LOVE} Tears of Joy

I am very much looking forward to photographing this wedding in March. They are what love is. These images were captured during our wedding consultation meeting. Oh, and I cried at least three times (tears of joy) during that meeting. Sheesh. I'll pull myself together by March. Promise.

These two are so sweet together. And they really adore and appreciate one another - you can see it. Mostly, I was blessed to hear these two lovebirds give glory to God over a over again, because they clearly see their union as a gift from Him. It's good to find love. ~ Heidi

GHHS Dance Team- H2Whoa!!!!

This is my second year doing team pictures for Gig Harbor High School's dance team H2Whoa (click on the images to see them bigger). Just like the first time- we had a blast! It was especially nice because two of the dancers are BerryLane Models- Courtney (captain) and Ronson (varsity).

It wasn't a problem that it was cold and rainy because the dance team chose to have their pictures taken at the Graffiti Garage in downtown Tacoma. We did three outfit changes for their group shot and did their individuals in their warm up suits.

Once we were finished with all the 'work' then we played with lots of candids for facebook. We're making an enlargement for their school display and I'm pretty excited because I have a cool idea.....!

It is so very fun to photograph such willing subjects! These two little misses were as delightful as can be. Full of talking and giggles and completely willing to do whatever fun thing I had in mind!

We still had snow on the ground and rain in the sky so we did their whole session on their front porch and the doorway to their home. In years to come these images will be that much more special because they were taken at such a memory filled location.

Downtown Tacoma family photos

Before all the snow, I had the pleasure of photographing the Witker family. It was great fun to have them in again because Kelsey is one of my senior models.

Models get credit for every person they refer and Kelsey earned enough credits to earn her family a free family session and digital file. We took these pictures during dad's lunch hour so it all worked out perfectly.

Now the only issue will deciding which one of these great shots they will order. (I know mine- and already have it planned out for a wall display in the studio!!)

Snow Puppy {Gig Harbor Photographer}

This is my sweet puppy Jemma and her first experience with snow! We put her in her sweater and headed out to see what she would do. Jems was none to sure of the fluffy white stuff. I had been seeing all these great pics on facebook of dogs running, leaping, rolling and overall having a blast in the snow.

Not our Jemma!

But, to give her credit the snow was taller than her and when we plopped her down in the middle of it all, well, she couldn't run in it, but she did a fine job of swimming in the snow!

We kept her out about two minutes total and then brought her in for a towel down, some treats and an awsome warm, fuzzy blanket snuggle time. She was happy for sure!

I was so happy the Lawson family made it in to the studio for their family photos! We had to postpone the last time because of a black eye and concussion on the basketball court. The best thing about having a studio is the fact we didn't have to postpone again because of all the slushy snow out there.

Luckily everyone was in perfect health and full of smiles. Talk about an easy family to photograph! And, at the end, I was given one of the best compliments a photographer can get- when the teenage boys say 'That was easy and fun- thanks!'

Jenny and Eric met the old fashioned way- on myspace!!!
She was in New Jersey and he was in Tacoma. The were friends for a few years and then she decided to fly out and meet him in person. It was love! She went back to New Jersey, packed up and moved out west. They dated 6 years and have been married for one! It's definitely true love.

They are about to head off on a new adventure. Eric will be starting helicopter school in LA and Jenny will be trying her hand at some auditions and I think they will both be enjoying the sun!!!!

My daughter and I were walking Jemma, our new puppy, along Harborview Drive. I saw the skeleton of a summers sunflower and I knew what I had to do. My daughter (as most all teenagers would be) was horrified as a laid down on my back to get just the right angle with my iphone.

Instruments and senior pictures {Tacoma}

I love it when seniors bring their instruments to be photographed as a part of their senior session. When they do I make them play music for me as I photograph them. There is something so lovely and beautiful about being serenaded while taking their pictures. I have photographed a cello on a foggy morning beach, a flute on a sunny day in a park, pianos on stage, a trumpet in a truck bed and guitars on street corners. But this was my first mandolin.

Maggie {Gig Harbor Dog Photographer}

We were hired to photograph Maggie at her place of work- the Canterwood Homeowners association. Although she is not even a year old she has become very well known to Canterwood families who often stop by just to bring her treats!

She spends a lot of time looking out the window seeing what exciting things are happening (leaves falling, birds chirping, lawnmowers). When she does get to go out- watch out! She is FAST and LOVES to run!

"My yamster is THIS big!" said sweet one year old Lola. Their first 'yamster' d.i.e.d. (it had to be spelled!) and this was their new baby (you can click on the image for a closer look). I was so impressed with how gentle and loving Lola was with her little pet.

I got to photograph this family for a Canterwood Life magazine spread just before Christmas. When I asked to photograph Lola with one of her favorite things this was what she chose. Adorable!!!!

I never intended to own an iphone....

Shocking, I know! I was perfectly happy photographing the folks of Tacoma and Gig Harbor and every where else with my sweet little blackberry tagging along with me. Then it died. It froze up and I couldn't do a thing with it.

Now, I have no understanding of the workings of cell phone contracts and upgrades and insurance coverage on phones but for some reason it was less expensive for me to get an iphone than replace my blackberry. I must be one of the very few iphone owners ever to come home with a disgruntled look on their face and a bit of concern on what just happened.

My 14 year old daughter, on the other hand, was beyond excited! Luckily I have had an ipad for a couple years so the learning curve was short. I plugged along using it not really feeling any super excitement until I started playing with the camera and some of the aps available.

Suddenly I was IN LOVE!!!!! I have been taking images every day and stretching my creativity. My whole thought process has changed. There are so many things you can do!

So- about this beautiful picture- I was driving my daughter to school. Yep, back to school, the same old grind, when I saw the most amazing sunrise! I drove up to the school, promptly booted her out and with barely a backward glance I was shooting down the road in search of the perfect view! Once I found it I rolled down my window, whipped out my phone and took the picture.

Ahhh- now I too feel the joys of owning an iphone!

Urban Family Session in Gig Harbor

These way cool folks needed some updated way cool pics! Their previous session was a year ago, and was scheuled in our studio. Those were really beautiful, classic family portraits. This year, they agreed that another look would be fun. So, we ended up on the main drag in downtown Gig Harbor - super fun! And, as you can see, this particular family oozes coolness, so I think we made the right call. ~ Heidi

This Christmas break went by so fast! I can't believe it's over and my girls are back in school. We even started out bright and early with a 7:30 ortho appt! I miss my girls and so does their puppy.

The first day of break we welcomed a new little puppy to our family. Sweet Jemma is a miniature short haired Dachshund. Delicious! Then Mike got sick until Christmas day when I took over in the sick department until New Years Eve. Ha- it's no wonder time flew by!

This picture reminds me of how fun my girls are. We took this just before my youngest daughters Christmas concert. It was cold and just starting to rain. Love how they match and I didn't even have anything to do with it!

Were you all as surprised as I was about the weather on New Years Day in the Puget Sound? It was delightful and inspiring and motivating. Crisp blue sky with little wispy clouds.

I stepped outside and took a real look around- that's when I discovered a patch of spring bulbs coming up. I can't believe it! We haven't really had much winter at all. Not a threat of even a smidge of snow! We've had some pretty rainy nights but the days have been dry for the most part. What is this? Are we still in Washington? The land of everlasting rain?

The holidays were lovely. I really treasured this time with my boys, and especially being able to include Daddy (their daddy, my husband) in the mix this year. We all enjoyed 12 consecutive days off together - no work, no school, just us! We played Monopoly, went swimming, drove to the ocean, watched lots of Christmas movies, ate good dinners, and loved well. Tomorrow, it's back to our scheduled lives; but, better now because of these past 12 days. Hope that you, too, were able to enjoy some special family time. Happy New Year ~ Heidi

Chewie- Gig Harbor Dog Photographer

This is Chewie. He was found, abandoned, at a truck stop in New Mexico 12 years ago at Christmas. We're not sure what kind of life Chewie had before he was adopted by the Norton's but he has had a wonderful life filled with walks on the beach and squirrel chasing since then.

Just over a year ago Chewie was diagnosed with cancer. His parents decided to fight it and he has been undergoing chemotherapy. He has his up and down days but it looks like he is having a successful treatment.

As you can see, Chewie only has eyes for his mama!

What a sweet boy.

Haley- Tacoma Glass Museum Senior Pictures

The Glass Museum in Tacoma is one of the most fabulous places to take senior pictures. I was SO happy Haley chose this location! The architecture, fountains, glass sculptures and boats on the nearby water way make for such a beautiful backdrop for amazing senior pictures.

I have known Haley since she was 6 years old. Our families were in a small group Bible study for years when she was younger. I remember how she and the other kids would really give the babysitters a run for their money! I was so honored that they chose me to do Haley's senior pictures. I know there are many other photographers they could have chosen so I feel very privileged to be included in Haley's special year. Thank you Karen, Mike and Haley!

What an honor it was for me to photograph Brianna's senior pictures! This cheerleader and gymnast drove all the way from Tumwater to have her pictures taken by BerryLane Photography. One her her long time friends from gymnastics was one of my models last year. They saw Hayley's images and fell in love with BerryLane- wow!

We never quite knew what the weather was going to bring- but we made with out a drop from the sky. It was so fun to see Brianna's cheerleader uniform- I've never photographed one from Tumwater before! It was fun to show off the beautiful garden's at Pt Defiance.

It was a cold, windy and rainy day in Gig Harbor for Becca's senior pictures. As we drove from the salon in Tacoma to Becca's location I was already looking at my schedule for another open time we could post-pone to.

But then a miracle happened! It sprinkled for about 5 minutes while we rushed to get some yearbook pictures taken. Then the nasty clouds moved out and the regular gray ones moved in. We were free from the rain!!!!

There was a glorious wind that we freely embraced to capture some truly unique NW images. Becca- I can't wait for you to see the rest!

Tacoma Rainy Day senior Pictures

Yep- it rains in Washington! Lots and lots of rain sometimes!

Shelby's session was a great example of what we can do even when it's dark and cloudy and raining. Because of schedules and deadlines we didn't want to postpone this session. Shelby's ideal location was at Titlow beach but there is no place under cover there.

However, in down town Tacoma there are many places that have awnings and covered walkways and places we could duck into. We decided to split the session half of the time in downtown Tacoma and the other half risking the rain at Titlow beach.

Look at these amazing images! Shelby was great. Not even worried about her hair getting that wet! We had a huge umbrella and managed to dodge the raindrops.

We were excited when we got to Titlow because it wasn't raining.... but by the time we got one outfit change in it started! Because we knew we had such great shots with dry hair we just embraced the wind and the rain and the clouds- and even the freezing cold water! Way to go Shelby!

Cooper- Bellarmine Senior Pictures

Cooper was referred to BerryLane Photography by two 2011 seniors that he played soccer with- Keenen and Alex. Ha- not only does Cooper play soccer, but football also (he was only a little late to practice because of his senior session!), oh, and golf and he used to play basketball, and probably every other sport out there too!

I just loved that we got some shots with his sweet golden-doodle Lucy. What a charmer she was!

It was a blast photographing Zach! His mom, Polly, is a sorority sister of mine- actually my Sigma Kappa Little Sis! they drove all the way up from Portland so I could take Zach's pictures- what an honor!

Zach is an amazing golfer. After we spent some time in downtown Tacoma getting some fun urban shots we headed out to Chambers bay. Of course he has golfed there before! I am beyond excited for Polly, Sean and Zach to see all his pictures!

Ronson and his mom went out scoping for a cool location and found this neat road and trail near Titlow that I had never been on before. I just love photographing in new places!

{OpLove session} The Karhan's

We were so honored to be chosen by the Karahan family to do their OpLove session. Operation Love photo sessions are created for military families. It is a wonderful program that honors those serving our country.

Dad is scheduled to deploy to Iraq in a few short weeks; and as you can see by this video, his family is going to miss him a ton! We are sure he is going to love every one of the images he gets to take overseas with him to enjoy during the six months he is gone.

When I first met Amy I knew we would have a fabulous photo shoot and boy was I right! Her outfits were perfect and it was really fun to photograph in downtown Steilacoom where I have never photographed before!

Amy's mom was a super help, always willing to do whatever we needed to make Amy's session the best. And Amy's brother dropped off sweet Max- the most well behaved dog I have ever had the pleasure of photographing (I have plans for you Max!).

Once we finished up in downtown Steilacoom we headed off to a beach (no clue which one but it was very cool!) to complete Amy's session with Trash the Dress! It was pretty wild at this beach because it was SO windy. But we embraced the wind and really made it work for us. Oh my goodness- it was awesome!

A Pacific Northwest Visitor {from Norway}

I first met Var's mother, Gyril, back in 1984. She attended high school with me as an exchange student from Norway. I remember thinking she was beautiful then, and by the looks of her daughter today, I'm pretty sure I remember correctly. Var is currently spending six weeks here in the USA, and staying with my dear friend Stephanie. We've enjoyed being able to get to know Var a bit while she's here, and had a great time camping with them all over the 4th of July weekend. It was such fun to capture Var's beauty surrounded by some good old Pacific Northwest beauty! ~ Heidi

Joel is a swimmer! Which explains why I met him at the Titlow pool (and he had a head full of wet hair). He had just come from a workout and was ready to go! Other than Joel wishing it was a sunny day (which I assured him was much more difficult to photograph in!) everything was perfect.

It was fun to photograph in an area of Titlow Park where I had never been before. And when Joel brought put his guitar and his hat I was super excited. I love it when seniors get creative with what they bring to their sessions.

Ahhh- beautiful Kelsey! We had a blast roaming the streets of downtown Tacoma taking her senior pictures.

My photographer self gasped with joy when her mom helped her pull out her beautiful white, flowing JA gown. Gorgeous! The Spanish Steps were perfect for this dress.

And of course we had to include her Letterman's coat, soccer ball and college wear from the school she has ALREADY signed with for college! Great job Kelsey.

She is just getting back from the ECNL National Soccer Championships in Colorado with her Washington Premier team. Woohoo! Go soccer (yep- my daughter plays soccer too!). And I can't wait for her to see all her pics!

Jungle Book- Broadway Center Tacoma

My girls LOVE to act (I mean really, what girl doesn't have a bit of drama in them?). This summer they participated once again in acting camp through the Broadway Center for Performing Arts in Tacoma.

It's a great program that has them in camp from 9am until 4pm for TWO WEEKS! At the end they had auditioned, received parts, worked on sets, memorized lines and put together a truly amazing production of Rudyard Kiplings Jungle Book.

I had a 'Moon Goddess' and 'Akela- leader of the wolf pack'. I freaked out at the wolf make up- how cool is that! They had a blast with all their friends (we had a serious contingent from Gig Harbor!) and learned a ton! What a perfect summer activity.

I just love photographing Emily! Any look, any expression, any attitude- she could give me. She had a wonderful variety of outfits. And the fact that I photographed her older brother this spring and get along so well with her mom Cindi just made it all the more better!

Jessica {Gig Harbor Senior Picture}

Jessica! One of our fabulous senior models. We met up for her session at Club Biella where she was getting her make-up done and then headed off to Pt Defiance Park. Not only did she bring her best friend and her adorable dog Rocky, but she brought the most perfect gown for Trash the Dress!

At the end of her session we headed to Owens Beach where the brave Jessica survived the oh so cold Puget Sound waters so I could capture some amazing shots of her in the dress!

How fun!

And then I saw yesterday on facebook that her dad hit a hole in one at a golf tournament and won a Harley. What a lucky guy- a gorgeous daughter and a really cool bike!

Photographing Friendships in Gig Harbor

We're selfishly sad that the family has just moved to South Africa; but, we're excited for their journey ahead. We look forward to reuniting with them when they return to Washington in a few years. Here is Amy- one of our amazing senior models during her studio 'model' session! She found out about BerryLane Photography by seeing some of our pictures on Facebook! She fell in love with our work and checked out our website. There she found our model application and filled it out!

Amy was super fun to photograph! As the captain of her cheer squad you can imagine she is very outgoing. She is also planning to compete to represent Curtis High School as their contender for Daffodil Princess- how fun! Blossom was such a sweet doggy! She just loves everyone. She is a miniature Australian Labradoodle- a bread that was developed for helping the handicapped.

She has a silly little habit! When her 'mom' and 'dad' have overnight guests they must be warned to close their bedroom door. Otherwise Blossom sneaks in their room and starts 'shopping' in their suitcase, bringing out her newly found treasures for everyone to see!

I was so excited when I was chosen to be the photographer for Canterwood Life Magazine. In the past few months I have gotten to meet all kinds of wonderful people from the Canterwood community.

I just can't say enough about how wonderful this family photo session was. It was a cool and rainy Saturday but we were up against the submission deadline so we couldn't postpone. Lucky for us the rain broke just in time for their session. Everyone was happy and in god spirits and that makes my job so much more fun. I loved the jewel toned wardrobe they chose that matched wonderfully but wasn't too matchy matchy!

And Disco- their dog!!!! She was the sweetest thing. I have never photographed a dog that loved it as much as Disco did. She always gave me her best look and amazing eye contact. What a charmer!

Paradise Theatre Gig Harbor presents - Grease!

Paradise Theatre presents their first summer production GREASE! Opening night was Friday June 17th. They show continues for the next three weekends, with three shows each weekend(Fri, Sat and Sun).

The music is live and the dancing and singing is fabulous! If you haven't seen Grease for a while this is definitely the show to see!

Jeff and Vicki Richards (the owners of Paradise Theatre) really know their stuff. I am constantly amazed at the choreographer Vicki comes up with and this show just continues the trend. All kinds of fun flips and spins and, well, other moves I don't even know what are called are all over this show.

A perfect start to a fun summer is spending a few fun filled hours in the theater watching this production.

Another Fabulous Gig Harbor Photography Session!

These boys were SO cool! Brothers to the end but completely different. One is a total rock star. Taking electric guitar lessons and jamming out. The other is completely psyched for a week of computer camp up in Seattle.

Both were up for anything I wanted them to do- and boy did they light up when I suggested they bring out their 'favorite things'!

This darling family won a Vintage Black and White photography session from a donation we made to the Gig Harbor Little League auction. We did this session at Kopachuck State Park on a very sunny Saturday. My goodness- the park was packed! We were all surprised at how many people were enjoying themselves at the beach. Luckily I was still able to make it look like they were all alone.

This session will be especially memorable for the Folley's as they are soon moving away from the Pacific NW. Hopefully they will look back and fondly remember our amazing sunny days and not all the rain we've had!

Some give it as a baby shower gift, some purchase it on their own when their little one is born, and for some it's something grandma just has to have . . . it's our Berrylane Baby Plan! This darling little guy was a pleasure to meet one year ago, as a newborn. We enjoyed spending time in his home photographing him as his life was just beginning. When I returned for his six-month session, it was so much fun to see how he'd grown. His smile was bigger, and he was sitting up. Most recently, I made another trip to their home for his one-year photos. Wow! He's walking, laughing, chatting, and oh-so-much fun. I've enjoyed my little part in documenting their journey. Mom's comment to me as we walked to the neighborhood park just hit the nail on the head, "Heidi, having you come here and spend time with our family has meant so much to us. Some of my friends have rushed into department stores for quick baby photos, but they don't hold a candle to this experience. Allowing our boy to play in his own surroundings really captures him and our family." Happy 1st Birthday, cutie pie! ~ Heidi

This family returns to me for annual photographs, and I have so much fun playing outside with them! We spent time at the beach together last year, and chose a wooded park with trails and an open field this year. Because they love being outdoors together so much, their photographs show them at their best. Mom and Dad just set these two kiddos free, and I get to have all the fun capturing them in this beautiful Washington goodness that surrounds us. I really love getting to know people through repeat sessions. It gives me a precious opportunity to capture what I see inside them as I grow to know them more and more over the years. ~ Heidi

This Gig Harbor doggy makes me smile! I mean really- how could you not smile when you see that face!

Radar spent most of her time running and playing ball with her master and smiling and hanging with her two little boys. It's been a long time since I've seen a pup that was just so happy to BE.

It was one of our few beautiful spring days and Radar was taking full advantage of it. Wouldn't it be great if we could be as happy and carefree as she is!

Harbor Fire Lacrosse

This is my daughter's lacrosse team- Harbor Fire. They are the first ever girls lacrosse team in Gig Harbor. Thanks to their coaches Craig and Akiko these talented middle school girls went from never having touched a stick before to winning three out the four games in their season ending tournament in Snohomish last weekend. Us parents couldn't be more proud! Even if we still have no clue about the rules of the game! ("What was that foul for? I think she breathed on her...." private joke between the parents! Snerk!)

Senior Pictures Mini Session- Tacoma, WA

I was so happy to have a nice day for Nicole's senior mini session. These sessions are twenty minutes long with two different outfits. Perfect for seniors that are SO busy they can barely fit senior pictures into their schedule! Even though it was a short amount of time, Nicole and I had a lot of fun and got tons of images. Turns out I have already photographed most of her friends too!

Graduating College Senior Portraits

This beauty is a GHHS grad, and will soon be graduating from college. Her gorgeous yard was a perfect setting, and the sun provided us some amazing pockets of light for this session. {Gig Harbor Senior Pictures} Sam

What do you do when you're getting your senior pictures done at the Narrows Beach park and it's 46 degrees out and WINDY? Bring shorts and tank tops! At least that's what Sam did. And braving the freezing cold paid off with some super adorable pictures! You would never know that we were all shivering, especially with each new outfit Sam changed into. Luckily I had a warm, fuzzy, red blanket (that is usually used for those outdoor soccer games in the winter) that Sam cuddled up in as we walked from spot to spot along the beach.

Birthday party time!

One of the most fun things we do at our Tacoma studio is host birthday parties! For this particular gathering a make-up artist and gourmet cupcakes were added in- how fun! These sweet 5th graders felt like movies stars with the make-up and then photo shoot under the lights and cameras!

The giggling was non-stop as they watched each other pose and glam it up. This was definately an experience they will remember for a lifetime!

Just a few years ago I took Lauren's senior pictures so it was extra special that I got to take her engagement photos. Lauren and Austin's session was in downtown Tacoma. We had a lot of fun walking through alley's and city streets finding great spots to photograph.

When I found out their puppies, Subi and Audi, were in the car I couldn't wait for them to come out and join the fun! What a cute little family they will make.

Here are three of our newest class of 2012 senior models. From Stadium, GHHS and SOTA. These almost seniors are so full of life! Really- not that you can tell other than from the twinkle in their eyes- but this crew was quite silly! There was lots of laughter as we went through our studio model session. It just makes me that more more excited for their full senior sessions in July. Hopefully they will remember to- 'turtle, drop, and tilt'!

Paradise Theatre- Putnam County Spelling Bee

25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee

This play, performed at Paradise Theatre in Gig Harbor, was the highlight of my week. I had never seen this production before and was so pleasantly surprised at how FUNNY it is!

Once again, Jeff and Vickie Richards made the most fabulous casting decisions. These actors really embody each character's unique personality. Some of the funniest part's of this production include members of the audience who become 'spellers'.

Trying something new!

We posted a model call and this young man came in to the Tacoma studio with his mom.

Heidi and I were very excited to work together (since we are usually on our own with clients!) and use some of the lighting and editing techniques we learned at the Senior Portrait Artist conference we just attended.

As you can see, you don't need to be a senior to enjoy the benefit of what we learned! I thought I'd use some of the hdr effects, a la Joel Grimes, for editing and I love the results. This little dude was not to thrilled to be roped into modeling duty but he was exactly what we were looking for! We wanted that tough guy look it he does it perfectly! Heidi did a fantastic job capturing these portraits.

Meet LeeAnn!

LeeAnn brought her people in to our Tacoma studio for a photo shoot the other day. She has a little brother who is just starting to walk and wanted to make sure we got amazing pictures of him.

When she walked into the studio with her outrageous snuffling I just flipped- she is SO super adorable! How happy we were to catch this sweet shot. Can't you just hear the snorting and imagine the drool?

Wedding season here we come!

We are very much looking forward to our first wedding of 2011! Emily and Robert are getting married at Chapel in in April and having their reception at Canterwood Country Club afterwards. What perfect locations!

We just meet with the bride and her lovely mom to discuss the events of the day, the timing and started planning for some amazing images. I know it's a bit away... but like I said- we can't wait!

Future Miss Washington

I was so excited to run into one of my 2010 senior models at Puerto Vallarta the other day! She has just signed her papers accepting the title of Miss Gig Harbor and is now preparing to compete as Miss Washington. Fabulous! And well deserved for sweet Miss Mandi!

Soon she will be meeting with gown designers and taking her competition classes. How Fun! I can't wait to hear her progress as the months go on. The actual competition is October 8th & 9th.

Danielle was super excited for her appointment with the talent and modeling agency JRP Seattle Talent (John Robert Powers).

She needed headshots for her audition and we were happy to help out.

Danielle selected our headshot collection that came with hair and make-up touch-ups ($239) which was GREAT because the make-up artist we use (Inga) also works for JRP. Perfect! Inga was able to give Danielle all kinds of pointers on what to expect and how to handle herself and she knew exactly what kind of images the JRP would be looking for.

I can't wait to see how Danielle's career takes off!

Photographer's Get-Away to Beautiful Winthrop

B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L = Winthrop. My friend from high school, Heather, has a great "in" for us in Winthrop - her parents moved there! Stephanie, Heather, and I always love a good girlfriend get-away, and last weekend we enjoyed the beauty of Winthrop together. Their house is located between the charming towns of Winthrop and Mazama. We strolled through stores, ate and ate and ate, visited Sun Mountain Lodge (gorgeous!), and just relaxed in the beauty that surrounded us. - Heidi
